The first owner of the house was a woman who came from the Balkans. Did she have it built, or was it already there? It is unknown.
It is being sold to Vidinli Demirci Ahmet Ağa.
Vidinli Demirci Ahmet Ağa`s heir son, Mehmet Efendi, is using it.
Due to Mehmet Efendi’s debt, the house is transferred to Nuri Bey, son of İbrahim, based on the letter numbered 928/347 from Bursa 2nd Peace Court.
The Nuri Karaca family is the family into which Füreya married. She married a man from a Karacabey family and moved to Bursa as a bride. While pregnant, she lost her child and they divorced. Füreya is from the Şakir Paşa family; Şakir Paşa was the first Turkish family to settle in Büyükada. Şakir Paşa is also the father of Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı, who is known as Halikarnas Balıkçısı.
The house becomes vacant due to the apartment trend in Türkiye and is used as a student dormitory. The architect of the house, Adnan Kazmaoğlu, is married to Mine Kazmaoğlu (who is the sister of Sevgi Soysal, the wife of Mümtaz Soysal, one of our former Ministers of Foreign Affairs). Mine Hanım`s other sister is Duygu Aykal (the wife of Gürer Aykal, who has also served as the conductor of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra). Adnan Bey states that when he visited the house after constructing it, he recalled that he had once stayed there as a student.
