The location is excellent, situated right above the old city walls with a wide view and pleasant natural surroundings. The amenities are quite good, the room is comfortable and clean, allowing you to rest easily. The staff are wonderful—warm and thoughtful—they assist with parking and carry your luggage. The breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious food, and it was the best throughout the entire trip in Türkiye.
A place where you`ll feel truly special. The staff is very attentive and kind. The food is delicious, and the prices are above average. But honestly, it makes you want to come back again. We came here for my spouse`s birthday dinner, and everything was wonderful. Thank you!
I don`t know if I could have imagined such a beautiful experience... On a rainy weekend in Bursa, we chose the room with a fireplace. Many thanks to the staff at Kitap Otel and to Mr. Atilla for everything. I recommend everyone around me to go and stay there, and I`m so glad we made the choice to stay here.
We spent one night here on a side trip to Bursa from Istanbul. This lovely home converted into a boutique hotel made our stay a special event. It is located at the top of a hill within old fortress walls and a very walkable distance to the old city center. (Unless you take a taxi, you will be walking up and down stairs.) The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and well amenitized, from bath facilities to charging outlets. The restaurant is excellent and the garden cafe attracts many people for an afternoon tea or coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is bounteous. If you would like to experience authentic Turkish hospitality, try this hotel.
Location is just inside the old city, and is convenient on foot to all of the main Bursa sights (you absolutely do not want to drive between sights). The restaurant in the courtyard is atmospheric and the food is excellent--feels like another time and place. Parking could be an issue. Google maps took us to within 100 ft of the property, and then I parked and walked. The manager/owner was waiting for us/expecting us, and he was very helpful. When I said that I wasn`t sure if where I had parked was good, he walked out and said it was just right, and clearly would have fixed it if it wasn`t.
